FAQ

What is APPA?

APPA is a business we created in hope of providing families with adaptable toys, games, activities and crafts for kids who need them.

Who are we?

APPA is a business created by 2 athletic therapy students at Mount Royal University. This company is independent from the university, however MRU has a lot of resources for people with disabilities. For more information, visit our About APPA page! Within that page is a snippet of who we are, along with our mission statement.

Who is our product targeting?

While the main objective of our company is adaptability, that also means being able to customize and be creative. We aren’t “disability-exclusive”; our products are intended for everyone. Some people may benefit from adaptable toys more than others.

How often will we update the products?

We plan to continuously update our products; whether that’s with our boxes or with our programming. However, we’re always open to new ideas, and if you have a suggestion for us, please let us know via email or form submission. Collaboration is only going to make our products better, and we’re always happy to hear from you!

How can we get in touch with you (APPA)?

Right now, we’re mostly working out of our email; activeandadaptive@gmail.ca - but we also have facebook and instagram acconts. Their links are on the bottom of this home page. We don’t have much on our social media platforms right now, but we’re looking to add to them this summer/fall, so stay tuned! Alternatively, if you had any specific questions for us, and you don’t want to email, we can always try scheduling a google meet or zoom call. Like we’ve mentioned, we want to accommodate you however we can!
